Relentless beats talented. Talent gets attention. Relentless beats talented. Talent gets attention.
Relentless gets results. In ultrarunning, talent might carry you through the early miles.
Relentless carries you when it’s hot, when it’s dark, when nobody’s watching. It’s the decision to keep climbing.
To keep eating.
To keep moving forward when your body votes no. Faith works the same way. Anyone can believe when prayers are answered quickly.
Anyone can trust when the path is clear. Relentless faith keeps walking when the outcome isn’t visible.
When the season is long.
When progress feels slow. It’s not loud.
It’s not dramatic.
It’s steady. Relentless forward progress. On the trail.
In your work.
In your family.
In your walk with God. Keep climbing. If this hits home, go listen to this week’s Midweek Motivation episode 89:
“Relentless Forward Progress”
Streaming now on all platforms. #RunTheRiot #Relentless #FaithInTheMiles #MidweekMotivation
Strong isn’t loud. It doesn’t need to announce it Strong isn’t loud. It doesn’t need to announce itself.
It doesn’t need validation.
It doesn’t post every grind session for approval. Strong is quiet. It wakes up early.
It trains when nobody is watching.
It sticks to the plan when motivation fades. In ultrarunning...and life...the loud ones often fade. The steady ones keep moving. They don’t surge to impress.
They don’t panic when things hurt.
They don’t need to talk about how tough they are. They just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Life works the same way. Real strength isn’t noise.
It’s consistency.
It’s restraint.
It’s discipline over drama. If you’re building something real...
your fitness, your family, your faith, your business... You don’t need to be loud. You need to be steady. Strong isn’t loud. It lasts. #RunTheRiot #Ultrarunning #Mindset #Endurance

Not every mile feels epic. Some feel heavy. Some Not every mile feels epic. Some feel heavy.
Some feel slow.
Some feel like you’re questioning why you signed up in the first place. That’s the work. Anybody can run when it’s exciting.
Anybody can push when the crowd is loud. But the real growth happens in the quiet moments. When you’ve been alone for hours and still have many miles to go. When you’re sitting on a rock, breathing hard, and choosing to get back up. You don’t have to love the suffering. You just have to suffer well. Train with discipline.
Recover with intention.
Show up again tomorrow. That’s how endurance is built. #RunTheRiot #Ultrarunning #SufferWell #endurancemindset #endurancemindsetcoaching
The body screams. Your lungs burn. Your legs lock The body screams.
Your lungs burn.
Your legs lock up.
Every step feels heavier than the last. The mind negotiates.
“Slow down.”
"Stop"
“Walk a little.”
“You’ve done enough.” But that’s not where races are decided. The will decides.
Not your comfort.
Not your mood.
Not the weather. The will. That quiet place inside you that says,
“Keep moving.” You don’t build that at mile 80.
You reveal it. Stay in the fight. #RunTheRiot #Ultrarunning #Endurance #Mindset
Storms are part of the course. If you run long en Storms are part of the course. If you run long enough, you stop being surprised by the weather. The sky turns.
The wind shifts.
The rain hits sideways.
The trail turns to mud. You don’t quit the race because of the storm.
You adjust. You lean in. You keep moving. Ultrarunning teaches us that discomfort isn’t an interruption — it’s built into the course. Life is the same. You will face: Hard conversations Financial strain Injuries Doubt Seasons where God feels quiet Storms aren’t proof you’re off track.
They’re proof you’re on a long course. And our walk with the Lord?
He never promised clear skies.
He promised His presence. The storm tests your footing.
It strengthens your faith.
It reveals what you actually believe. Anybody can praise God at mile 10 on a sunny day.
Real faith shows up at mile 78 in the rain, when your legs are shot and the headlamp beam is all you can see. Keep going. Plant your feet.
Lower your shoulders.
Trust the One who designed the course. The storm is part of it.
And you were built to endure it.
